August 27, 1943 Merritt Island FL Physical Therapist Divorced I graduated form Ithaca College with a degree in physical therapy. My first job was in NYC at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. From there I went to sunny warm Miami, and worked for 4 orthopedic surgeons and got sand in my shoes. I was married for 21 years, and moved to Merritt Island. I am the in patient manager for a comunity hospital, and have been there for 30 years. I work because I still enjoy it, and it keeps my brain young! I'm enjoying life, and love to take out my kayak and cruise the canals where I live.

It is nice to see what every one is doing.

August 17, 1943 Endicott NY Retired Married 3 Immaculate Conception Immaculate Conception IHS Left Ithaca for nursing school in PA. After graduating from there, I worked for a short time at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. I got married to Jack in 1965 and we have spent most of our married life in the Endicott, NY area. We have three kids and four grandkids--Tim lives in Atlanta, Kate in CT, and Amy in MD. Three grandkids are in CT and the newest one is in Atlanta, so we don't get to see them as much as we would like. I retired in 2004 after 22 years as an RN Administrator for a home health agency. I LOVE retirement but I like to be busy and keep my brain cells alive, so I volunteer with United Way, Office For Aging and as a health insurance counselor. At home I enjoy gardening(in nice weather),knitting and curling up with our dog and a good book.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of my friends from the Class of '61 and from Immaculate Conception Class of '57.  Hope you will all be part of the celebration in 2011.  Send Ann a MessageSend Ann a Message

July 12, 1943 Middlebury VT retired medical staff coordinator Married 4 After high school I completed two years at Alfred Tech, worked at Cornell Hotel School for a year and then married my college sweetheart, Joe. We lived in Rochester for 10 years where I worked at Xerox corporate headquarters 4 years and then had 4 children in 5 years - 3 girls and a boy. We lived in rural Copake, NY, for 28 years. Sadly, we lost our 9-year-old daughter in 1982 in a pedestrian/truck accident. Most of my child rearing years I was a full-time mom, and prior to retirement 5 years ago, I was a medical staff coordinator for a small hospital in western Massachusetts (12 years). Three years ago we moved to Middlebury, VT, where our oldest daughter lives with her husband and 3 children (my husband works in Burlington, VT). Life is good here. Middlebury is a college town surrounded by farm country and mountains, much like Ithaca, but smaller. Now I volunteer as a reading mentor at an elementary school, Hospice volunteer, nursing home volunteer and Compassionate Friends Co-leader, among other things. We enjoy traveling and love visitors.
Looking forward to the reunion. Send Nancy Anne L. a MessageSend Nancy Anne L. a Message

October 25, 1943 Cortland NY Retired Special Ed. Teacher Married 1 Immaculate Conception School Immaculate Conception School IHS I married Tony Mignano after my graduation from Syracuse University. We lived in Liverpool, New York, for almost 30 years. Our daughter, Michelle, was an accomplished rower so we were on the road to various races. We even followed her to Germany when she represented the U.S. for the Junior Women's Rowing. It was awsome to see the competition! I worked for the Liverpool School District as a teacher assistant in Special Ed. for 20 years. We moved to Cortland, New York, to be closer to our aging parents in 1995. Tony and I divorced, so I went back to college (after 33 years!) to get my Masters and Teaching Certificate (late bloomer!). For one of my graduate courses, I spent 6 weeks in Italy, visiting schools. After that, I became "Italian" in every sense! I taught Special Ed. at Homer Elementary School, second grade. It was a wonderful experience - great kids. I have been able to make 2 more trips to Italy, one with my daughter, and one with Judy Elmo Leonardo! I retired from teaching and remarried Tony Mignano.
My special interests have always been the care and welfare of animals.  We have always had cats at home (at least 4 or 5!) and I support the SPCA in Cortland.  I also love to work out in my flower gardens.  It doesn't get much better than a warm, sunny day and fragrant flowers!
